Frank Weston Benson

American, (March 24 1862–November 15 1951)
Benson was born in Salem Massachusettes. He was an impressionist painer and often used figures posed by his family. He is credited with making the American sporting print a distinct art form. He taught at The Society of Art in Portland, Maine.
