Born 12/26/1894 in Pescina, Italy. Came to the US with his parents in 1900.
1912-1916 studied at the Peabody High School, Pittsburgh, PA. 1917-1919 Studied at Carnegie Institute of Technology. 1917 Hawthorne Scholarship, Provincetown, Massachusetts. 1919 Tiffany Fellowship, Oyster Bay, Long Island. 1920-1962 Faculty, Department of Architecture, Carnegie Institute of Technologhy. 1920 Membership in AAP. 1925 Entry in Carnegie International Exhibition. 1926 Entry in Carnegie International Exhibition. 1928 Entry in Carnegie International Exhibition. 1934 Entry in Carnegie international Exhibition. April 22, 1964, the artist died in Neenah, Wisconsin.
Simboli received the AAP, Carnegie Institute Prize in 1930. The AAP, First Oils Prize in 1931.
Pittsburgh Watercolor Society, Third Prize in 1953. Pittsburgh "Artist of the Year" Award in 1955.
