Studied at the Art Students League in New York, under the leadership of Thomas Hart Benton, George Grosz, and Harry Sternberg. Faithful to his country, he served in World War II, becoming a Captain. After the war, Pittsburgh was his destination and the city where he worked as a commercial artist. Following his passion, he eventually retired and moved to North Carolina, where he painted the beauties of nature.
